Akai EIE Pro 24bit/96khz Audio Interface
Akai EIE Pro 24bit/96khz Audio Interface
Akai EIE Pro 24bit/96khz Audio Interface

Bought in New Zealand in 2013, so it requries a converter for AU power adapter. (can buy one in 2$ store) It's a very unique and beatifual USB 2.0 audio interface, it delivers exellent sound.
The lastest driver does support OS Yosimite & Windows8.1, yes it's supported, works flawless with USB2.0.
However if you are using USB 3.0 port you have a chance to encounter an error of noise generating after using more than 3 input at same time for a while. I recently bought a new MAC which only has USB 3.0, and i have some urgent recording to do, so I don't have time to wait for the new driver, i have to let it go .
Available for picking up or mail at buyer's cost.
Important Hints:
If you are using a computer which have a USB 2.0 port, then this one is good to use
or
You connect to USB 3.0 but you only need to record less than 3 input simultaneously (e.g 2 guitars or a guitar and a bass) , then it's all good to use.
or
you want to use all 4 input at same time with a 3.0 USB connection, well you better wait for the new driver which may come out soon.
Besides from the officail specs , I'll tell you why this is a good piece
Pros ( you can't find any of these listed aspects2,3,4,5 in anyother product)
1 High Resolution Sound Record up to 24bit/96khz
2 All 4 input could be used with Line/Hi-z/ Mic ( with 48V phantom power option)
3 It has a integrated USB hub which expands 3 more usb 2.0 ports( extremely convenient )
4 Unique VU meter, you can choose to monitor input/output , the lights will turn red once signel is overdrive. and who doesn't love VU. (extremely helpful)
5 You can switch the volume between input/output monitoring, that means you can plug and play without even switching on the computer or open a DAW , but will still have a good preamp.
Cons
Need a power adapter convertor to use in Australia ( you can buy one in 2$ shop )
Work perfectly with USB2.0, but only 2 inputs at a time with USB3.0 at this moment. need to wait for new driver to fully use with USB3.0
